We are retired, we didn’t plan on retiring so soon but my husband was in an automobile accident and was disabled; it became necessary for me to quit work too. So now we raise chickens. For fun and hopefully a little profit.

Our chickens are free range, part of the time. They are also socialized by raising them in dog crates when they are small. That way they are easier to handle and like people more. They are also grain fed from the age of 6 weeks when they are old enough to go outside. We make and ferment our own feed. They are also fed supplements . My husband and I both grew up with chickens and by free ranging they can pick what to eat.

I won’t send live chicks through the mail. I will deliver chickens within reason and eggs if you want quite a few. We will try to be open 9-5 five days a week and Saturday 9-12. Closed Sunday. Texting me at 660-281-8610 is advisable before you come.
